Syntax:

  1. SELECT MIN(aggregate_expression)
    FROM tables
    [WHERE conditions];

Example:

Select “Employees” table and fetch the minimum salary of the table.

  1. SELECT MIN(salary) AS "Lowest Salary"
    FROM Employees;

    FROM tables
    [WHERE conditions];

Example:

Select “Employees” table and fetch the utmost salary of the table.

  1. SELECT MAX(salary) AS "Highest Salary"
    FROM Employees;

Output:

Syntax:

  1. SELECT AVG(aggregate_expression)
    FROM tables
    [WHERE conditions];

Example:

Select “Employees” table and fetch the typical salary of the table.
